Singapore Technologies Aerospace, the world's largest MRO company, receieved a $32.5 million landing gear contract and a maintenance contract with Primera Air, a Primera Travel Group, also known as JetX until 2008.
The first agreement covers landing gear maintenance for the next five years. The second, an eight-year "maintenance-by-the-hour" program, covers parts exchange, MRO, component engineering and logistics services for Primera's fleet.
Primera's six Boeing 737NG aircraft, as well as six more it plans to add, will be serviced at ST Aero's STA Solutions facilities in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo, says ST Aero representative Melissa Low.
